Dr. Kurt Kristiansen, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified

Dr. Kurt Kristiansen initially began his career in medicine as a post baccalaureate Registered Nurse, graduating with his BSN in Nursing from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, initially working in both Neuro and Cardiac ICUs. To be able to counsel and support patients further, he studied to become a Nurse Practitioner, gaining his doctorate - PMHNP - from The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
Because Dr. Kristiansen has seen such a wide variety of patients as both a critical care nurse and psychiatric nurse practitioner, he is able to provide comprehensive care and treatment to patients. He understands that mental health struggles can be just as serious as a physical injury, and he desires to help each and every one of his patients overcome their difficulties.
Dr. Kristiansen is dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental environment for each of his patients, cultivating a relationship where the patients feel secure to voice their feelings and concerns, regardless of their struggles. He is a compassionate, understanding, and sensitive listener who is dedicated to finding solutions which will help patients live healthy, happy lives.
Dr. Kristiansen offers treatments for adults for Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Trauma & PTSD, and Substance Use Disorders.

Follow-Up Sessions & Medication Management

Current Clients

A 30 minute session to manage and maintain your medications, and when changes may be necessary, your provider will work with you to find the best solution.

We currently only accept the following insurances: Anthem, Cigna, and United Healthcare. Cash is accepted. Aetna, Humana, and Medicaid/Medicare insurances will be accepted by the end of 2024.
